Hi my husband is having awful night sweats, he has Aspergillosis and mild Empyseama, he is currently taking itraconazole does anyone else suffer these awful sweats?

I had them when I first started itraconazole but they stopped after a few weeks and never had them again. Robin

Thank you for your reply, pleased to hear yours stopped. My husband has been on itraconazole for about 9 weeks now the sweats went away but are back again.

Sorry to hear that. Some antibiotics can cause it too. Is husband very worried about aspergillosis? Panic can cause sweats. Theres some scary stuff online but the most common type can be controlled. Robin

Yes, I do and I hate them. I haven't really looked into it, as I have so many infections and always seem to be taking antibiotics I tend to think it is the reason. I really should discuss it with my doctor! Hope your husband is feeling better. :)
