just wanted to check in . . . .im still on my losing weight battle although I’ve hit a wall at the minute 😕 I’ve got 10 lbs to lose but it doesn’t want to go atm I’m trying to carry on but I don’t no if it cus it’s warmer ( even though it still raining ) I seem be more breathless is any one else like this ? Hope everyone is well xxxx

also I seem be sneezing more frequently but no other symptoms so I ruled out hay fever ? Xxx

I need to lose a stone but it’s difficult. The weather affects my breathing depending on humidity or dew point so I have good days and not so good days. Keep on going 👍

Are you eating enough fibre and drinking enough non-sugar fluids to keep your bowels regular? And do you include a lot of salt or salty foods in your diet? Both of these can affect weight loss.

All the best as you tackle this last weight goal of 10lbs.

I eat quite well I think it’s more I’ve slowed down again because of the humidity tbh I do love salt on my Sunday dinner though 🙃xxx

I don’t drink anything from water except my morning decaf coffee with one sweetener I don’t think I cud give up that it what’s starts my day 😂x

Your morning decaff coffee with sweetener is fine! I'd be more concerned if you were drinking a few litres of full sugar cola.

A good target for fluids is to drink about 2 litres a day, spread throughout the day. This sounds a lot, until you break it down into: a full glass or mug with breakfast, lunch and tea, mid morning break, mid evening break and supper; and with sips of water or similar through the day.

I drink mostly bottled water as our water isnt the best tasting in our area 😊 I usually have a cut off point at 9 ish as I may aswell sit on the toilet with my duvet and pillow if you no what I mean 😂 xxxx

Been there, done those, got the t-shirt! :)

I use a jug-style water filter now. You can tell the difference.

I sympathise. I ought to lose weight, BUT.... It doesn't seem to float off the way it used to. Too many days of involuntary sofa surfing don't help. Goodluck.

There’s nothing like a comfy sofa alberta56 And sometimes it’s good to rest 😂 that’s what I tell my self on bad days xx😊

I’m with you on this, my weight loss stopped and not doing anything different and it has gone in reverse and gained! Whether it’s fluid retention in ankles due to weather being a bit warmer or too hot n bothered to move so much? Who knows. But don’t give up, cool fan, cold drinks and write down everything that you eat and every inch that you move. Bit of yoga breathing while resting to help the breathing and we’ll get there. Thankyou I keep lists for everything 😂 my other half suggested changing my exercise routine( he was in the army he thinks everyone’s as fit as him 😂🤣) but want to wait until my breathings abit better to be able to push myself a bit more I’ve heard a lot about yoga I don’t think I’m that flexible to be honest😂 but I will look on you tube for the yoga breathing stay well xx

Hi! You're doing really well 😊

My breathing gets worse with high humidity, very noticeable. I also react badly to pollen. A few extra sneezes but nothing else except my breathing is very laboured and I can't get get control of it. It is defo pollen, I have eliminated anything else. Am about to ask doctor for a stronger antihistamine, if that exists!

Keep at it, even if it's slow, you will get there in the end 😘😘 xx

Thankyou still trying I can’t have antihistamines as take beta blocker to control my fast heart rate glad it’s not just me then I will put the breathlessness to pollen I usually don’t suffer with it I get bit breathless in humid conditions but not as bad as this year I’m keep going with the excercise it’s me losing no weight that annoys me my other half says everyone as a stage where you don’t lose anything so I’m just going keep going even if it’s slower for now😊xxxx

Your other half is right (this time 🤣) you do reach a bit of a plateau. Even if you stay at the same weight for now, and then maybe give it a good push when your breathing improves? It’s very fed up making, but be kind to yourself, you’re doing really well xx

oh how lovely! Such a great age! Actually, as far as grandchildren go, any age is lovely!

Yes, I’m ok, in the middle of pulmonary rehabilitation course, which is very positive making, but quite a challenge in the more humid weather.

You take care and enjoy your grandson 😘😘 xx

Leo60 I love having him my house isn’t child friendly anymore though ( mainly everything white) 😂 my son is nearly 13 and disabled so it can be. Quite trying especially as my son doesn’t cope well with loud noises when they both together but i wouldn’t change it 😂 this is why I’m trying do every I can keep healthy as my son will always be dependent on me it’s hard work at times especially when my breathing goes abit ( I try not to let on with him ) but he’s so sweet he will come to me with my inhaler and say do you need this mum ? Bless him he is the reason I push myself. More 😊 even though the other week I said to him do you think I’m losing weight he said your still abit fat mum I had to chuckle 😂honest as ever and no filter 😂😂😂xxx😘
