saw a tip somewhere about wrapping up in a terrycloth robe and drying that way. i ordered one and how easy it makes it. step out of the shower, slip on the robe and sit down for a couple of moments. its a win win.

I do this too, it was suggested to me when I attended pulmonary rehab as I would always get out of breath trying to towel dry, much easier sitting in the robe to dry, less exertion.

Glad you have discovered this. I have dried this way for 30+ years. Ever since I got out of hospital. Rib

I do it also, I also just use a large bath sheet towel, wrap it round sit on the bed, watch telly till im dry, so much easier xx Sonia xx

Glad you have found this out, as it makes showering or bathing so very much easier, and it doesn't take long. I call it air drying! lol Its such a simple thing to do, and yet has a big impact on your day.

Why is it that sometimes the most obvious is the last one we think of. I to have been using a towelling robe after my shower so much easier. So many tips can be found by following posts.

Yes, I love my towelling bath robe - it makes things so much easier. I bought one for my husband too, but he only used it once, so I now have two!

I too use a robe and also a towelling turban for my hair.

Great tip. So simple (but I never thought of it!) so have ordered one. I am usually so breathless after my shower so this should really help xx

good tip thank you - will get one and try it - had my first shower today in over 4 months - (do was top and tail in sink usually) - had bought myself a lovely stool to go in the bath with a swivel seat so I could get out easily and fits in bath great not too expensive either feel like a new person now - had got stuck in the bath 4 months ago and did not have the strength to get out - got help but very, very embarrassing and scary - anyway thanks for tip, take care xx

Bought mine about 1 yr ago but I couldn't find a real terry towelling robe in any of the local shops and stores. Plenty of synthetic ones around but reckoned they wouldn't have the necessary absorbency so ordered mine online. Should have sent it back and got a smaller size as its huge and heavy but was too impatient to wait, wraps around me twice but it's great.
