I suffer from COPD. I also have Alpha 1 Altripasine disease. I'd never heard of that until a couple of years ago. My work is a construction site supervisor. I am about 50% hands on. I may travel 10 minutes to work or 2 hours and anywhere in between. I tire very quickly. I am still off work sheilding. I have kept very busy decorating the house and doing some construction work in the garden. I dont tire as quickly, maybe because there is no travel involved and I choose my start/finish time, also I have not set any targets. What don't get done,,,don't get done. I often have coughing fits, trying to clear flem from my throat. These episodes happen several times a day and leave me breathless, also very embarrassing especially at work or in company. When it happens at home, I just go to my bedroom and take my pumps using my spaceball. The cough is permanent, usually every 10 minutes or so.
