Hello
Hi Yvonne, sorry to hear you are not feeling your best. Do you have meds for your COPD? Maybe you need to see your GP for a check up & get a med assessment. Hope you feel better soon
Hello Yvonne, welcome to the forum. I agree with Jessy, you need to see your GP as soon as you can and sort things out. keep in touch .. Gerald xxxx
Hi Bless and welcome to our little site. Have you had a sputum test done? If not it might be a good idea then you know what bugs your dealing with. Sorry to hear your holiday was messed up, but at least you got around! Take care xx
Welcome to the Community Yvonne. If you had meds ready to tackle an exacerbation, antibiotics and steroids, then it may be that the strain of infection that has caused your exacerbation may be a different bacteria. Especially if you are in different climes to your norm.
Try and see your regular pulmonary advisor or GP and if possible take a fresh sputum specimen for them to send to pathology. Just in case it is a nasty bug. Rib
Welcome to our friendly sure Bless. The others have given you good advice. I hope you feel better soon xx
Hi Yvonne
Welcome to the site, so sorry your still not to well,
To tell you the truth, i'm in a very "similar" situation as yourself,
That's the good thing about this site, great advise, support and help.
i "MIGHT" just have to take the above advise myself, i think the sputum sample comes first !
i've had a/b,s steroids, almost continuous, for a few months now [still on them, "on the cut down week" this week ]
But i'm still a little concerned.
but great advise above, hope you feel better soon Yvonne,
lots of love jimmy xxx
Welcome Yvonne, sorry your holiday was spoiled. As the others said, I wonder if you have picked up a bug your immune system is unfamiliar with.
Definitely a visit to your Doctor is needed.
Good advice given by the members here.
Hi Yvonne nice to meet you and welcome to the site. x
Thank you for all the advise x
Hi Yvonne and welcome, xx Sally
Hello Yvonne. I am in a similar position with an ongoing exacerbation which I just cannot figure out and I have been up and down to my GP with one appt with a consultant and they still haven't found the right antibiotics. It does take a bit of pushing with the doctors, I'm afraid. You will get it sorted out, just keep pressing for the right meds. Let us know how you are getting on and lots of blessings. xxxstillmovin
