Lol! The most important thing I had to teach George was bite inhibition. This meant he stopped the bit as soon as he made contact with skin. This you do, by screeching OUCH, at the top of your voice, every time he bites you.

Puppies need to learn the strength of their jaws. George learned in the end, but he was the most difficult of any of my dogs to train. He has a nice soft mouth now, which is unusual for a Jack Russell.

I was covered with little cuts from his sharp little teeth. The doctor said I would have to get rid of him, because I have diabetes. So it was imperative for me to find a way to stop him. He would go for any bit of flesh he could find.

he isn't biting as hard now as he was so he is slowly getting .we keep a few chickens and the old lab comes out to get the eggs in she will carry one into the house and never brakes one . I had a jack Russell years ago she was such a gentle little dog lot of people think of them as snappy dogs but when my son was about 2 he pulled one of her whiskers out she didn't growl snap nothing you could do any thing and so good with kids but if another dog went after her it was a different story .

George is very sweet and gentle, he loves children. He adores my great grandchildren in particular.

He looks like a Jack Russel but is ¼ Westie with big feet.
