Welcome to our marvellous forum NFanning,the most basic exercise I would say is standing up and sitting down.I have very severe emphysema so ten of these take it,s toll on me.You should aim to get yourself slightly out of breath to make the exercise count.Have you mastered the breathing techniques you need to control breathlessness.Have you got a date to start your PR?I,m now doing my second and find it very helpful.Good luck,D.

I too use this for breathing exercise, have done daily since knowing about COPD. Have to say it really made a difference.
