They found a 13x6mm nodule on my right lung by mistake on 28 june by 11 july i had my pet/ct,i organised it by myself...ive had breathing and breathlessness problems now for over one year.but very short of breath these days.when i go to hospital they put on a finger proble and say im ok,but when they do ABG blood gases im very low like an 8.86 for O2.

Hello jane.the fastest referal in london anyway is two weeks.then they have certain protocols,like watch and wait,lets see if it gets bigger,its all about cost really.so i could wait weeks,months before they do PET/CT scan or biopsy.its just they see so many people.most people i met are now paying for fast access to pet/ct scans and biopsys because even though they say fastrack two weeks thats just the initial appointment,then wait again and again and again all along the way.when you have a nodule like mine,its not good.john xx

My mums 81.im not in contact with my siblings for various reasons.my girlfriend left.my ither friends unhappy because i cannot go on holiday,its a nightmare

Hi mortalguy, you have got yourself in bit of a state at the moment...is there no one you can talk to about your fears.

If you feel really desperate and worried you could try ringing the Samaritans ....they are trained to deal with people who are feeling low...or they could point you in the right direction to get help.
