Well, that cheered me up brooke - not, haha.
Hi Casper feel the same. xx
That's probably Why they are still here 10 yrs later!! You could see it that way or enjoy your habits......whatever we choose to do. Did you have a bed in there.? Why did u think they won't be around for long?. I hope u don't mind me asking you all these questions. Take care.x
Hi Colour yes I did have a bed for 2 nights. Saw some awful sights and spent some time with end of term life mostly with copd. All with consent with such lovely folks. xx
Oh,how sad,at least they are together ,I bet it openened your eyes,I bet 2 nights was enough to experience all the atmosphere, glad to be home .
On a lighter note, dyslexia spelling ,just seen the TV ad ,about the OAP going to Spain on holiday, it should be hilarious, there massive. Can't wait,to have a good laugh.
Hi Brooke
Thats sure depressing. Must have made you feel defeated. What stage are you?
Rubyxx 😊
Hi Brooke, it certainly is thought provoking, I've been to 3 funerals lately and none of them were copd related, also s friends mum is now 86 with copd, having a rotten time of it. Then again a lot of 86 year olds do, I guess I'm saying try not to dwell on the experience, plan as if your going to live for ever and live as day as if it's your last ( easier said than done ) xxxx
The saying "One day at a time, sweet Jesus" seems appropriate here.
Yesterday's history, tomorrow's a mystery; we only have today and that's a gift - that's why it's called the present.
As an (idiot) registrar said to my FIL, "... you might get run over by a bus before that.."
See, there is hope... LOL
Truth is that people who have led a blameless life get landed with all sorts of nasties including COPD. I love your quote eregendal and have never come across it before - I hope you don't mind if I use it to cheer others on another forum?
