I am being put on a nebulised n acetysteine to try by my constutant she say it does not work for every one but try it anyway. I am one 3lilter oxygen and my lungs are 26/% Has anyone been on this and could you please let me know your experience. Thank you.

I havnt heard of it. What's the other names?
Thanks for your reply I have not on them yet only told this name and have to take them 4 times a day , they are for clearing the mucas and not available from the doctor.
Can't remember what my medicine is, but I use a nebuliser 4 times a day. I think my lungs are so low that they don't want to tell me. Anyway... I am on 5L to 8L of oxygen. The nebuliser has helped out. God's blessings...

Are you using the acetyl cysteine still? Has it been helpful? I didn't know it was being prescribed yet, I thought it was still being trialled for nebulisation?
Hi Sorry I didnt reply sooner.I tried this out 4 times daily and found my copd worst,the doc did say its not for everyone sadly not for me .
