Round and round we go.

Where on earth has that last week gone its cant be Sunday again so soon, is it because we are getting older (well some of us are) that time is speeding up. Well the weather has not changed from yesterday still very wet and misty there are two pigeons sat in the tree and they look really fed up, feathers all wet and even their Coo sounds sad. Having a change today dinner will be served at daughter Catherine's house prepared and cooked by Hannah the granddaughter, she does the most tasty Savoy cabbage with chopped streaky bacon and cream, her roast potato's are just that bit crispy and she also roasts the carrots and you can almost stand the spoon up in the gravy just like we had in the navy. Pleased to say pain in the back still hanging on but not so bad and the sparkle is back to its cheeky self thanks to all you lovely lot.

Right here we go as requested by O2.

This blonde guy (yes he's back) got a job on a building site as a gofer, that's the job where you have to go for this and go for that. Any way as it approached lunch the foreman told the blonde guy to go across the road to the coffee shop and collect the coffee for the bricklayers and don't spill them on the way back as they are a hard lot. The blonde guy thought I will show them I am clever and grabbed a large thermos flask and off he went knowing that way he would not spill a drop. At the shop he asked the girl if she thought the flask would hold six coffee's, after a short while it was agreed by the staff that yes it would hold six cups of coffee no bothers.

Oh good sighed the blonde guy with relief, "Than give me two regular, two black and 2 decaf please oh and sugar in the regular ."

While I have been writing this as I take a while as I am a two finger typist the weather has changed the mist has lifted and it has stopped raining, maybe if I had taken longer the sun would have come out. Enjoy the rest of the so called bank holiday and speak later. :) :) xxx Fred

Lol....good misty morning Fred. So glad that pain's eased off in your back, now don't do anything to aggravate it today.

Lunch sounds delicious...tell Hannah to set another place at the table for me. Have a good weekend Fred. :-) xxx

I will take it easy Lyn I promise, the only thing I will have to do is the washing up after the meal, I always do I am a past master at that job :) It would be lovely if you were able to join us for the meal, quick get in the wardrobe again and change the setting to Devon :) Enjoy what ever it is you do today Lyn. ;) xxx

Morning Fred. Laughing at the joke - but then, you always cheer me up with your jokes 🌞🌞 So pleased the pain is easing - I had an accident many years ago which left me with a severe back problem so I know how debilitating it can be. But, on a much better note, it's so lovely that you're joining your family for lunch today - it will do you good to be waited on 😀😀. Take care. Jan xx

Hi there Jan like wish I have suffered with this back for years and to top it off the cancer seems to send pain out that way as well, but thats life as they say and we are stuck with it so no use complaining to much. :). Well I must be typing slow as the sun has now appeared that's a good sign. Have a good day if possible xxx :) :)

Good Morning Fred, so glad you are feeling better today and that sparkle is coming through.

The weather here is very changeable too, it was pouring with rain at 8, dull and miserable looking at 9 and now it is brightening a bit, fingers crossed we may even get a little sunshine. :-)

Enjoy your weekend and your lovely dinner, nothing as good as a meal that is cooked for you.

We are having beef today.

Take care everyone

Hi Fred

I think I still have double sparkle!

It's chucking it down here, new trainers that pinch, but set off to they gym for my workout! And guess what trainer didn't turn up so was cancelled yippee. So I managed to get out of it guilt free!

It is often hard to get myself motivated but once there and then it is over I am buzzing for days with energy so well worth it. I just wish I didn't have the dread factor.

Ah well be back there Tuesday.

Hope you enjoy your lunch - I think it always tastes better when someone else cooks it.

Oh I must send you a pic of my puddings!

Enjoy your day.

Xxx

Hi Fred, so pleased your back has eased a little. Dinner sounds delicious , as does the company. We are having roast turkey breast and Dave is making stuffing (alongside) with lardons, mushrooms, chestnuts . We treated ourselves to a Mouton Cadette wine last night, nice. The joke made me giggle, stupid boy. I was worried about your lost sparke but clearly it wasn,t lost at all, just misplaced. I am on a mission later, to seek some pixie dust, if in future you lose your sparkle, you can use this as a standby and you can fly out of that wardrobe, with Lyn and co... do you remember magic & sparkle, the M&S, christmas fairies, i think they are resting up for the season but if i find them i,ll post them as well. Love Margaret x

Oh Margaret yes I remember that advert the pair of them became annoying in the end, lets them be where ever they are Margaret, but thanks for the thought lol :) I must say that meal sounds really nice, as for the wine I have not drank beer wine or spirits for years now but only because I begain to enjoy it to much so thought it best to leave well alone. xxx :) ;) Love Fred

Ha Ha,loved the joke,as for time going fast,my Gran always said once time starts going fast, you know you're getting old!

Enjoy your dinner,it sounds lovely, your Grandaughter knows how to impress Grandad!

Do hope the pain in your back subsides,& you enjoy a lovely time, with your lovely family,

Hugs to you,xxx

Thanks Wen xx the granddaughter is the apple of my eye, and always sticks up for me against the others in the family who are all women and that includes Bella Trix the dog. When she was little instead of grampy it came out as grumpy and its stuck she has bought me T shirts, mugs the lot, each time she visits America I get more, she is 26 now. Keep happy love, hugs on there way. xxx Fred :) :)

Hi Fred, loved the joke.

Rain and pain go away come again another day.

Oh Fred sorry you are in pain. Nasty.

Wet here no sun.

Enjoy your lunch, sounds delicious. Wish I was there.

Hubby doing the honours today. Not sure what yet as he has his dusting hat on and I don't believe in disturbing a man doing housework.

Me I'm idle today.

Have a good day
