Little corner of my garden.
You know the ditty dont you?
spring has sprung
The grass is ris,
I wonder where the birdies is?
they say the bird is on the wing
But thats absurd
Because the wing is on the bird!
I blame old age!

Beautiful Iris and thanks for sharing with us. My sister has a little granddaughter called Iris, I love the name.
Im glad my name is coming back, My mum said she chose it partly because it couldnt be shortened, she had slso considered Pearl, Im glad she chose Iris.
Hope you are well, I see you have Bronchiectasis, but have had it much, much longer than I have. I find it tiring, worrying and unpleasant but some days are not so bad as others. the sunny days help. Love Iris x
I feel the same about the bronchiectasis, Iris. It's pretty difficult to manage but I get lots of good days and I'm so grateful for that. You keep well too.
Very pretty Iris and loved the poem too. Take care xxxx
glad you like it Sassy. Hope Pete is coping with his difficult problems. One thing wrong is bad enough, then Something else comes along and you think, thats not fair, as if life is. all the best to you both, Love Iris x
What a lovely corner you have Iris and such pretty colours. Loved the poem too. xx
Lovely Iris Spring is such a lovely time i love to hear the birds sing and watch the plants spring back to life again. x
Lol...love the little ditty Iris and your garden looks so pretty and colourful. xxx
Hi Lyn
the garden is changing every day now and hyacinths seem to thrive and multiply in this garden! We have alight, free draining soil and bulbs enjoy that it seems. We are able to do less and less in the garden what with age and health, so it will get out of hand, but we do our best and struggle on! Love Iris x
Iris, this is so sweet. I love that photo. Music to my heart! Mic
That is so pretty Iris - a really lovely corner. We are on heavy wet clay here so the stuff is struggling in all the rain - still, a brave show of daffs and pheasant-eye narcissus, the roses love a good clay, but that's for later - looking very healthy though. My ma-in-law used to say that you know it's Spring when you can put your foot on nine daisies - either that or you've got very big feet!
Hi Dragonmum
Yes, roses are not so happy here, and I love roses, so we keep trying. You must be warmer than we are here in Herts, our narcissus are not out yet. they are a favourite of mine, too. Love Iris x
