Hi
I think you are the first to post.
As with DLA ask for the case papers, this will show you the actual account of your case, questions that where ask and to who, plus their replys.
It was the case papers that allowed me to overturn my DLA claim.
You can still go for a full appeal, if you are not successful in you reconsideration.
Good luck and don't be put of.
I would of least expected enhanced mobility, with standard care.
hi I was awarded the same standard mobility nothing else, that was over a month ago, I phoned them to tell them things I wanted looked at was told would get a phone call back within a week, never got call so phoned again, gave detals over phone plus sent a letter. 2 weeks ago still hadn't heard from them so phoned again and was told my letter etc was away to decision maker. (but it wasn't). got phone call from them on Tuesday this week asking what I wanted looked at they had letter in front them once I went through it all again she said would then be sent to decision maker, so now waiting outcome.

I'd read on here that they are slow to ring back or don't ring at all I didn't ring to ask for reconsideration just wrote a letter with details of what points I thought I should've been awarded. That was about 3 wks ago. Heard nothing yet. Fingers crossed for both of us

Hi tam. Got reply after askin for reconsideration. They standing by decision still only getting low mobility. No care component. Read today replies to posts. X
Good luck Iv just been awared standered for both but was just one point off both I was going to phone them but was think I was luck to get wot I got and did won't to go ahead so good luck to you all hope you get it let us know how you got on x
You could ask for mandatory reconsideration where they just get a different health professional to look at your case. The one point will make such s difference to what you get.

Yes I know but then been told u could lose points too that y I have not bothered with it cos I did not know if they call you back in again or not x
I don't think they call you back in. If you weren't happy with reconsideration then you have the option to go to appeal X
