Hi I could be wrong but think that means your lung function is between 50 and 70%. I am 66% and am copd 2 ie moderate. I am sure someone will be alone in a minutes who knows for sure or who can put a link in. x

Thank you for getting back, do you do much in the way of keep fit

Simple answer - no. I know I should and I do take my sisters dog out every day but most times only to the park across the road. Have you done a PR (Pulmunory Rehab) group yet? You can be referred by your doctor or nurse and they teach good exercises for lung problems. It's worth doing. x

Hi I just saw you post. I was diagnosed 2 years ago. Not good to begin with. I do have two other heart conditions, so it took some time for the docs to get me sort. I get lots of chest infections but I do lead a fairly normal life go on holiday, visit friends & family do some house work cooking & baking.

One of the thinks that really helps is following this community. There's a wealth of knowledge, good humour, friendship & support. There's also the help line

Ues exercise is good as well as the suggestions already made you could try breath easy. Singing & playing a wind instrument are also suggested

Best wishes keep smiling Nan
