Hi Puff,

I had great difficulty as it has been a while since I tried posting something from you tube. I will try and explain what I did, but before I do, when you actually download it, or upload it, or whatever it is called, a link appears on this page, and it is only when you press the submit post, that it turns into the screen.

What I did.: I found the piece I wanted to post, and then played it on you tube. At the end, I went to the address bar and highlighted it in blue, then on the blue part, right click, then you get a window that opens and click on copy. Go to HU and write your post, but right click when you have finished writing and choose paste. A link then appears which changes into the above picture when submitted. Is that as clear as mud? Its called copy and paste I believe, but me no techie.

Hope that helps a little and glad you liked the song. I had intended posting it on New Years Day, but had lappy problems.

Oddly enough, before I read your reply, I've just tried it on a different thread and it worked. It's odd though as it's the first time it's worked properly. All the other times it's just came up with a URL link.

Cant you just highlight the part of the email, then copy and paste just the same as from a webpage?

Hi Rib,

That would seem the obvious thing to do, which I tried 4 times, but each time it just came up as a photo, and would not play. Maybe on emails which do not have music or videos that would work, so will try that sometime. I remembered this came from you tube so got it from there in the end.

Hope you are doing okay, I have been a bit snowed under, catching up and other things, but will catch you soon.

Another storm is here and building up nicely now, so another night with no sleep looms, but you know about that.

Thanks. I knew your weather was bad so expected your email would be delayed. No worries. Just so long as you are muddling ok.

How about using Paste As. It should let you paste it as a link. The other option possible is the way your email is viewed. View As or Display as are options in some email programs. I can set mine to not show images. Or turn HTML display off. So it just shows the link to the graphic file rather than the image.

ps Not sure if you know, you pressed your submit button 7 times. ha ha I have done that before, but if you want to delete 6 of them just go to the little down pointing arrow at the side of recommend, click and options will come up. xx
