Hi all ,my name is Steve and I have copd .I'm just getting over a chest infection and have been inhaling colloidal silver once a day .I was wondering if anyone else has any experience of nebulising silver as I'm still unshure of the amounts and how often it can be done .many thanks Steve

Hi Steve nice to meet you and welcome to the site. I am not sure if anyone on here takes collidial silver and I certanly don't so can't help you on that I'm afraid. Personally I don't think it helps but others may have different ideas. x

Were you prescribed this by a GP? From what I can see on Internet, its not recommended, years ago it was used but discontinued in the 1940's. There is a chance of contra-indications with other medication. There appears to be a high risk of permanent cosmetic damage. There is some risk of allergic reaction. To my knowledge no standardization of the product has yet been done.

Thanks for the reply .I just thought I would give it a go after reading some of the posts on this site ,I have only inhaled it 3 times in a nebuliser and it did clear my lungs of mucus but the more I read about it the more I have my doubts ,so more research me thinks .x

Good idea to research. If it was me I would speak to my GP, or you could contact the BLF to see what they think
