Hospital

Hospital I have been in since Sunday night and what I have seen on a chest ward from one patient is diabolical and should not be aloud but still the nurses put up with it How they do it I do not now

Hi David. My Daughter has been an ITU nurse for the past 20+ years and some of the stories she tells us beggar belief. Some people think that they can behave just how they want, with no consideration for other patients. If I were a nurse - God help them, because I wouldn't be able to tolerate their disgusting me,me,me attitude! It takes a "special" person to be a nurse - my Daughter definitely doesn't get her patience from me ! lol

You are right what you say it do take someone who can see past everything that is said to them . But what I have seen this week there is no word I can think off . But this was no spring chicken who was giving lip words I have never used but when I told the staff nurn

That he should be in a mentel hospital she just said has he needs Medicaid care he can not go to a mentel hospital

Long time ago,19 years,I was in hospital for a colonectomy.In the next bed this chap arrived and constantly abused the nurses verbally,I could hardly move but got out of bed and told him "that,s enough you don,t talk to nurses like that".I was furious and took a while to calm down.Next day having apologised to the nurses he also apologised to me.Our nurses deserved at the very least common curtesy.I would give most of them a medal! d.
