Hiya, I suggest you put yourself on a regime of supplements: Vit C, Vit D, zinc and probiotics. Using VICK's First Defence will also help you when you need to be around kids/people with colds and flus. Good luckxx

My sympathies Yvette. I remember times like that when my 3 were small. One after the other and sometimes all 3 with lovely (not!) runny noses.

Jenss advice is good. Take care of yourself. Best of luck :-) Jan

(edited because my machine decided I'd finished halfway through!)

Morning, fully understand. I look after my Mum and so desparately try not to get a bug as much as can, jabs, vits, lots of commonsense but sometimes you just cant. One person did say to me lots of green tea eaerly stages help to fight it off?

Just stake them young'uns up in the backyard with a tent and a box of matches so they can have a fire...; take care of yerself....

This is the best thing since sliced bread. If you have not tried it , your missing out. The product is called Vicks FIRST DEFENCE. its made by Proctor & Gamble in Germany, and retails around £6.99 for a 15 ml bottle, it is a Nasal spray, and should be used at the first sign of a cold coming on , or if you know someone already has a cold and there is a possibility that it will be passed onto you. This is a leap in cold protection.

regards Malk.

Good luck. Just to let you know I had to wear a gas mask at times during the war and ever since I just cannot stand the smell of rubber...I panic every time I am near the stuff. Just warning you :) :)

Keep up the vitamin pills going, as said Vics vapour rub is good. An old wives tail said to put it on the bottom of your feet so it does not get to overpowering and the heat from the bed makes it more affective, i do it and its seems to work well. Have not got kids (to old now) but i do have a Nursing sister as a wife and she is a carrier of viruses and such and never gets ill she just gives them to me. So will be joining you on the mask front, Have a good weekend Yvette
