Be careful what you wish for sassy, there's too many rainy days to come and I might just give it a go. . Its a long song so I might have to sing it in 2 halves with a get your breath back break in between. The Boss never has this problem eh'!!!!!
Howdy jimmy, glad I got yer feet tapping. I've heard about those dynamite laxatives as my step mum had a colonoscopy not so long ago and she was very graphic in her description about its explosive effects. Too much information!!!!! Ha Ha.
I've seen him twice, once at the NEC Birmingham in the early 80s and again at Leeds which was a massive outdoor venue but both times he and the e street band were amazing.
The boss is not only a great singer song writer but he's an entertainer as well isn't he. The fun he and the band have on stage rubs off to the fans and makes for a great time for all as the video shows.
Oh I saw the boss too at the bowl Milton Keynes in the early 90's. He was brilliant. x
I've seen a few bands along the way but nobody comes close to Springsteen for sheer fun and entertainment. Great memories from the 70s and 80s, and to think when I first saw him at the NEC I didn't even know who he was, I was given the tickets for free from a friend who had to change his plans at the last minute. He said go and see this guy, I think you'll like him, Wow what an understatement.
I started going to Bruce's concerts in the 80's and since then I've only missed one of his concerts. Saw him last year in Coventry and he's as good now as he was then. He's a poet, a story teller and the best entertainer I've ever seen, and that includes The Beatles, Stones, Jimmy Hendrix, Tina Turner. I'm a massive music fan and I just love his raw energy, he does pass onto his audience the feel good factor.
