Aww, sad news indeed. I saw him as Alvin Stardust, on stage in 1974 ~ He was GOOD. We sat in the front row and he sang Red Dress among his other hits x

Yes very sad, I loved him when he was Alvin Stardust I remember going to the Imperial ballroom on the Stratford road in Birmingham on a Saturday night to see him.
