Mortality rates for cardiovascular disease have dropped by around 45 per cent in the last 10 years. The reduction in smoking over the last few decades is thought to account for 60 per cent of this reduction in mortality.

I'm alright then. Don't smoke, don't drink don't eat meat. Oh what a good girl I am. Shame I never ever smoked. Last year I sponsored my nephew in Australia "Dry July". He did it. Raised money for a cancer charity.
Good post offcut and I have actually been thinking about stopping the alcohol for October. I would add "just thinking" as we do have Pete's birthday soon. I can try though I suppose. Now to try and get our son to stop smoking, that would be great. Take care xxx
