Hi all has and body on here had coils fitted in their lungs not the valves as they are different as I am going to my consultant tomorrow and going to ask about them so just wanted to know a bit more about them before I go in head first lol xxxxxxx

I am in gold stage Emphysema ,I was going to have the coils fitted and the guys on here were amazing and gave me lots of advice..You will have a lot of replies soon.Good luck x

the valves are approved by NICE, the coils are awaiting approval. Trials of coils are taking place at Royal Brompton & NICE approval is expected later this year/early next.
