Hi Mogworth My consultant changed my Seretide 250, two puffs in a morning and a further two puffs in the evening to the Fostair and after two weeks of use I have noticed a difference. I take the Fostair through a small spacer and take 2 puffs in a morning and 2 puffs in the evening. My wife said that I do not cough so much as I used to, so it must be doing something. I have also changed the order in which I take my inhalers I used to take the Spirivia 1st but now take the Fostair 1st followed 20 minutes later by the Spirivia which does also appear to work. Can anyone advice as to what the correct order should be?
Hope it works for you.

I was put on fostair from symbicort as I don't have the power in my lungs to use symbicort. It does help but you have to remember to rinse your mouth out after using it. I use mine two puffs three times a day
Hi jobutlin43 Have you had any problems because after taking this for 2 days I was awoken in the night as my lungs hurt I spoke to the pulmonary nurse who put me on this and she told me to go back to taking seretide. I have a pulmonary nurse visiting me on Wednesday so I will see what she advises. Thanks for your reply Mogworth
Hi, I was recently put on Fostair and my Seravent was cancelled as I was told that Fostair did the job of Seravent so I needn't take both. I use a small (8") spacer. To be perfectly honest, I haven't noticed any difference. Good luck. Taker care, Lizzy.
I was on fostair originally, but my breathing was worse and I got terrible night cramp. On symbicort now.
Yes I've been using Forstair for years. No problems. I too use a small spacer.
