Hi

Not sure of any venues.

If you are in / close to Urmston Manchester

The following company will demonstrate any of ther products. It is the one I used.

healthoxygen.com/

Remember you can only purchase on production of proof from your oxygen team,

Stating the LPM, and delivery system continuos or pulse.

There is also

intermedicaldirect.co.uk/pr...

Based in Kent.

As Stone has already said, you have to provide a letter of proof from your oxygen nurse or someone connected to your respiratory team that you use oxygen. You might also have to be assessed for using a portable concentrator as these machines are usually pulse operated.

I am using a concentrator in June from Pure Oxygen at healthoxygen.com

Good luck

I don't know where you are based but you could also try -

Smile Rehab Ltd., 109 Greenham Business Park, Greenham, Berks. RG19 6HN Tel. 01635 37550. email info@smilerehab.com.

No, I don't work for them, just a very satisfied customer. :)

Hi bobbymcgee The first thing to check when looking for a portable concentrator is the percentage of oxygen that it put's out, some are as low as 30% which is little better than fresh air, I email my oxygen supplier and they will give me a machine on loan to take with me and they will also put oxygen cylinders in any location that I ask them too. Check with your GP or nurse before you purchase

I often go on holiday and when I do I ring my oxygen company (Air Liquide) a couple of weeks before and they loan me an Igo portable concentrator (that is an I not an L) and a small tank of liquid oxygen which I can fill my Helios Marathon from, about 10 fills. I load them both in the car and off I go. The portable concentrator can be plugged in the cigarette lighter socket and used in the car, or runs on battery or from a electric supply. Air Liquide have a website uk.airliquide.com/en/home-h... where you can see what you need, so I am sure if you have a different supplier they would have a website too. Keep smiling

When we needed a portable concentrator my husband's consultant arranged it......but I guess it may be different in different parts of the country. Gill
