Does anyone know if I can hire any kind of oxygen (cylinders, liquid, concentrators) in Alcudia, Majorca.

Why not hire a portable in the UK and take it with you? If flying you will need to arrange o2 for the flight also. Having said that some of the portable are aircraft certified.

Yes just hired one from healthy oxygen a simply go it does conti or pulse I am going to spaln next week no deposit and 3 battery's for 2wks for 320 pounds cheapest around.

If you are given oxygen at home you can arrange oxygen from spain I have just come back, providing you do it in plenty of time at least a couple of weeks all you need is the old E111 card or the new EHICS card (apply on line) then fone them and they will tell you what you need to do, it is a free nhs service just need your oxygen prescription, your passport and your ehics card. hope this helps enjoy your holiday x

Hi Boiler,

Firstly you need to go online and apply for your EHIC card, then if you ring them and ask them for information on oxygen whilst in Alcudia they will direct you to a site whereas you can contact the overseas health care assistance,

You. will need to fax to the health care team in the specific area eg balierics or whichever u are visitingI,a copy of your passport, ehics card, and your oxygen perscription, the hotel or address you are staying in and the duration of your stay, hope this helps but you will find them very helpful and the spanish office do speak reasonable english hope you get it sorted and have a good holiday xx carol

Dear boiler could I ask you who you have got your insurance with as I am having trouble getting insurance for my hubby who is on oxygen,he has portable bottles at home to go out with,but you can't take these with you,you get in touch with your oxygen company here they will give you the details of the company who supply Majorca,e- mail them your details & they deliver to the. Hotel where you are going,it will be waiting for you when you get there,it is free as you are British, but make sure you have an up to date E111 card,which they need a photo copy of,I hope this helps you,& have a lovely holiday
