I have been on oxygen 19 hours a day for the last three months. When my machine was delivered the enginer said the cannula would last a

month to six weeks I don't know if it's my skin but after 2 to 3 weeks mine have gone hard and will not hook over my ears properly

Hello beld, you could phone up your supplier and they will bring you more or you can order some on line....

you can buy them on Amazon , they have them at quite a reasonable price, take care, huff xxx

Thank you for your reply I feel much better about things now. I had rung up and they had sent replacement cannulas out to me with out any questions but I felt guilty as if I was wasteing them.

I had looked on the net but no one sold the ones I needed

I have the same problem and change the cannula every 3 weeks. The oxygen flow hardens the material and makes it much less flexible. I just ring them for more as I need them and no one has ever questioned how many I use.

Maybe that's the intention? If we feel guilty we change them less often and they save money? Perish the thought! ;)
