I think it's a very good idea. I once went to a smoking cessation clinic run by Dr.Chris Steele (in his own time and at his own expense), he showed pictures and vids, one of which was an elderly man who had all his limbs amputated, attributed to conditions caused by smoking. He had had a contraption made that sat in his shoulder and held a lit cigarette in front of his mouth so he could still smoke!! It didn't stop me smoking at that time but even if it stopped a couple of people in the room that day then it was worth showing. The human mind seems to work against us with addiction, we have that thing called hope and it tells us it won't happen to us. I think the most horrific pictures possible should be shown on cig pacs. I think sufferers in the latter stages of this disease should be taken into schools and colleges and do question and answer sessions, to save just a few would be a triumph. LIbby

It is amassing the lengths people will go to just to smoke, I went to the pain clinic December and sitting outside the hospital is a old man who could hardly draw breath trying to light up a cig. It brought it home to me last night in the pool I was so out of breath I was light headed and this is what smoking did for me
