forgot to ask

hi all sorry for been a pain but l did forget to ask when your given your results who decides what further action is and do they tell me or my doctor

I would imagine that if you get the results on the day you will be given advise if not your doctor will talk the results through with you. Try not to worry. TAD xx

I was told after a CT scan at my local hospital, that I would be contacted after about 7 days with the results....but after 10days I had heard nothing, so rang my gp' s surgery...they didn't know either. They thought the results had gone to the consultant at the first larger hospital that I had visited for an x ray and camera scan. I waited for a few more days and then rang them...got answer phone...left message...then got phone call with

results....all clear thank goodness. So I would contact your local surgery for advice or the consultants secretary.

Hi minkymoo, forgot to say, when I had another test previously the receptionist at my gp's surgery contacted me to make an appointment to see the gp for the results.

so does this blood gases test tell them if l need oxygen
