Hello Brooke 12
Please don't give up.. I know it's hard not to. Have you a friend that will let you rant and rave about the unfairness of life? I've found this works wonders. Keep taking the medication and I hope you're feeling better soon. Love lancslass43
Hi Brooke
I have just got over my third chest in fection in 6 months, also had laryngitis for the second time with it, I had to have a week off work as my job involves taking a lot lol, we all get down its knowing that we make even more of the good times chin up gentle hugs.
Shirley.
Please go back to the GP if you still feel ill. I am in hospital on IV antibiotics after numerous infections that oral antibiotics wouldn't touch. Could even be a 10 day job this time!

Please keep your chin up. It's not easy coping with lung disease. I am fed up going in and out of hospital and sometimes feel like giving up too but then something happens that gives me hope. I haven't been out for months but yesterday I managed out with my daughter and son in law for a few hours and it made me feel so happy. Today I am not so good but yesterday made all the difference. I am grateful for that. M x
Sorry to hear you feel so low Brooke. If you are able to go out, i was wondering whether there is a Breathe Easy group in your area. All the members are in the same boat there, either have a lung disease or care for/live with someone who does. They socialise, have talks, special events, some do exercise programmes. There are more and more singing groups for people with lung disease, you don't have to be maria callas People enjoy singing together and its good for your breathing.
Everyone gets down - I certainly do at times - no shame in it and of course come here to the forum. The BLF helpline will also be happy to talk to you about any concerns you have - click on red balloon top right on this page fopr contact details. Take care
That's no good Brooke, sorry you are feeling like that.Do hope you have someone close that you can vent too.Try & spoil yourself with something nice.
As for the sore throat,I find the only thing that fixes mine up,is the old salt in water & gargle, kills the germs too!
Hope things look brighter soon, xxx
Sorry to hear you/are feeling so rough. Back to gp fr different meds and/or referral I think. We all have down days. I think it comes with the territory. Try red balloon for advice and come back for some live and understanding. Alison
Hi Brooke, sorry to hear you feel so low, there have been so many of us poorly with repeated infections this year, feeling low is part of the illness as it makes us tired and breathless, try and think that Spring is just around the corner and some much needed sunshine, that's what we need, knowing that we are all in the same boat and can understand helps, I think myself lucky when I read about the members who are in and out of hospital, there are always some that are worse off, I haven't got to that stage yet thankfully, take care and try to keep your chin up.
Best Wishes to you
Jude xx
Please go back to your doctor, and talk it over with him, do you have any lung problems
jan
I have developed this sore throat too. Somebody talked to me at church and had this cough!!!
You could vent your concern to your doctor.
Hi brooke12.
Know how you feel, I have sore red throat and feel like I am constantly having a tight hard to breath day.
The other day I was really depressed after reading some posts and an article, However the people on this site lifted my spirits by showing care and giving good advise.
listen to what folks here say, they are far better then any psychologist.
the posters here have first hand experience of the problem you are having and can sympathise through their knowledge.
Tom.
