Hi 02 Trees, I do follow Hope for Paws website. I try not to dwell on the hearbreaking parts, but rather concentrate on their many success stories, there are are some really great heartwarming vids on their site. And you can donate the smallest amount you can afford, every $ is useful. I wish more British rescue organisations would put themselves out there more in this way. Thanks for the post. xx
I don't know their website, i got this through the Care petition site. Also I'm not trying to extract people's cash as there are many organisations here who could do with it, and also many people with health problems have a hard enough time meeting their own needs.
This just felt so emotional to me, being essentially about trust - Im a sucker for that
I have my 3 favourite charities that I donate to but am constantly disappointed by the fact that a huge percentage of it is thrown back at me in the form of unsolicited items sent to me to buy and requests to send more and more money. I much prefer to send the odd £1 or so to a very worthwhile charity knowing that the vast majority of it is used for the purpose it was intended. x
I saw Miley's story on facebook and cried buckets for her. A wonderful organisation that really cares - restores your faith in humankind!
Cheers Stitch - i didn't know his name, will keep an eye out.
