hi I use liquid oxygen for many years ....Don't worry about it just use it when you need to recover you'll soon get the hang of it .you breath air when you need to naturally so when that's not enough, turn to your oxygen .simple
Hi SueE
I've been on liquid oxygen (ambulatory) for two and a half years. As a back up, if we're out for the day for instance, we take the gaseous cylinders, but I find the liquid oxygen cylinders lighter and easier to carry. I don't notice any difference when breathing them in! Hope this helps and best of luck.

Sorry SueE I forgot to mention that I have recently been given a concentrator and this is usually considered the best for indoor use. X

I was offered liquid oxygen but I had to refuse it. Someone came from the oxygen company and said you have to find somewhere to store the oxygen container. Not near the gas boiler, not in the kitchen, not upstairs. We couldn't find anywhere he thought was suitable. Also the small containers have to be filled. Unless you are strong enough to hold the cylinder and turn the tap on to fill it you will have to have help available. I couldn't see any way I could cope with that.
