There are side effects from the inhalers and it is sometimes about finding the right ones for you - my husband cannot take the ventolin blue inhaler - he gets very trembly and really bad cramps. Please go back to your doctor and ask his advise. Take care, TAD xx

I was put on one inhaler that gave me terrible cramp, so they swopped me back to the original one.

Its really trial and error sometimes.

Could be the meds or part of the condition. If you are getting the jelly legs all the time, it could be the meds or it could be something else.

If the jelly legs occur on exertion, standing still in queues when out, that is probably partly to do with the lungs and exhaustion.

I had the latter in early days of diagnosis, not so bad now but then I have always continued to exercise. Now if I over exert my legs just decide things for me, they become sluggish, like jelly and just don't or won't do any more, rest time is decided by the legs.

Either way do check back with your doctor about these symptoms as what may be the case for any of us, may not be the same for you.

Best wishes BC

I get this from nebulisers, its due to the large amount of inhaler dosage I get, but defo worth mention go the doctor

I try to avoid nebulised salbutamol now, after a few trips in an ambulance, and hearing the word 'tacky' I realised that each breathless episode was being made worse by my heart rate which rocketed every time I nebbed. The side effects of the medicines we use are all listed on the sheet provided, Trouble is they list so many things how do you work out which ones apply to you. I particularly liked the headache pills I was given that might cause headaches.

The doc said I am doing to much still working full time and thinks it might be the inhaler or it's my body's way of telling me I'm doing to much
