Been this morning to see my consultant and actually saw the top man, he is a Professor, very nice and always polite. We had a good chat and he was very pleased with me to the extent that i have been discharged. He said i have mild Emphsemia( sorry about spellig) and he was pleased to let my surgery look after my daily needs. They can always send me back to him if needed. I had lost some weight and keeping myself well. I may have pain with the Arthitis but i can deal with this .

That's good news Christine, let's hope you manage to maintain your lung health - arthritis is bad enough without Emphysema (spell checker corrected my spelling) on top of it.
That's good news Chris, sounds like you have similar problems to me. Lungs and joints. Try to keep as well as possible, it's not easy but it is good you have lost weight too. That's my problem, like my food too much and can't exercise enough due to health, to lose weight. Best wishes
Thanks everyone, i will try to keep it up. I walk the dogs daily on my scooter for about an hour. They love it and do'nt let me forget. My house is now smoke free and i do'nt go into the city center where all the fumes are from cars. As for losing weight i have cut down and do as much moving about as i can , i also try to walk up stairs instead of taking my the electric chair .
Hope everyone else is doing ok , sending hugs to one and all.
