Aha - mine did for a while then stopped - maybe the system got fed up with me lol! Xx
That is what is happening to me too, there are lots of new comments on today and yesterday but I never received an email telling me they were there. To be quite honest, I absolutely hate this new site with a vengeance. I had problems getting in today. i.e.
1) I typed Health Unlocked into the search engine because there were no emails to click on.
2) A long list of communities came up from A to Z
3) I clicked on COPD (British Lung Foundation)
4) I signed in and clicked the 'keep me signed in box'
5) It took me back to the long list of communities A-Z
6) I again clicked on COPD (British Lung Foundation)
7) I had to sign in again and clicked the 'keep me signed in box.
8) It took me to the bottom of the page where I had to scroll up to see all the blogs and responses
9) I clicked on your blog and here I am.
Totally frustrated. This is it now, I have had enough, I do not have the time to be messing about with a site that is, in my opinion, not ready for use.
Sweetthing, don't give up on us! The easiest way is to bookmark the page (or put it in your 'favourites') then you can always find us. All change is difficult at our age but once you get used to it this site is no more difficult to use, though I agree always being taken to the bottom of the page is frustrating!
Aww nooo - please don't give up. It's really frustrating and I'd only just got used to the original site when they lammed this into play but at least the search facility works (after a fashion with perseverance lol!) and almost everyone is so lovely and supportive ...
I have now started to get an email but with maybe two comments instead of the old long list (which I found much more helpful) but maybe they're still loading subscribers alphabetically. Other peeps seem to have been getting these longer than me.
I keep one answer or comment email so I can click on it and get into the site. I'm usually logged in already by that method and it saves me time and aggro! Worth a try?

Agree with you sweetthing. Teething troubles have gone long enough. I love this forum and the people on it. I have found another site that I feel comfortable with, but will stay with BLF. All the best = annieseed xx
Hi, I just minimise my BLF page before I switch off my laptop which uses Firefox.
Simples (for me at least).
When I switch back on the BLF page is still sitting there waiting for me where I left off. Maximise and click on posts or questions (whichever wasn't open last) and everything is brought up to date.
Similar on my tablet which uses Chrome.
I never bother with their notification emails or the catagories because everything is there in the posts or questions
Occasionally if something goes t..s up I'll log out & then log back in again.
This probably hasn't helped much but this is how I've simplified it for myself. Peeg x
Thanks Peeg - I can get on site easily it's just negotiating the posts and questions once I'm on - took me a while with the original site so will continue to puddle about - not giving up yet, lol! X
