What happened to the daily updates...the e-mails that used to wait for me every morning? Have they been done away with? Be nice to know.

I thought about them, cornish brian, but then realised that" browse all" served the same purpose.

It's not that. It's the fact that i can never find the site two days on the trot.Bookmark it, add to favourites al to no availe. have to go through a search engine every time.

Hi CB, I've been getting e- mails for a few days now, like the old days. If you go to home page, click on your picture, then e-mail preferences can be adjusted from there.

Good luck.

Hi, thank you. I've just been there and checked and the box was still ticked for daily update. I have now ticked every box and see what happens. Thanks again.

The new email update page system is working but I have noticed there wasn't one today so maybe there are some hiccups with it again.

I seem to be in a minority as I have had no trouble at all getting on the site and am getting regular e-mails.I am still trying to get used to the format though and don't think it flows as well as it did but I shall persevere.

Having ticked all the boxes yesterday, I am getting updates constantly. Thanks. Unfortunately, this isn't what I set out to achieve. I wanted to wake up in the morning, persuade my rust laptop to fire up and there before my very eyes would be one daily update of previous posts. This is what happened on the old system. I am very pleased that it is working for some but.....back to my original question "Why aren't I receiving my daily update e-mail (Singular)?

having the same problem CornishBrian, i received 2 updates Wednesday and Thursday each only containing 2 questions but since then nothing. hope its sorted soon.

I haven't a hope of getting mine. I had to re join the site when it was changed. I had to create a new email address and now I can't remember the password I used for that a/c.

As Admin have opted out of answering the question or at least explaining what is happening, I have sent them a message via support in the hope that they will answer. Since ticking all the boxes, which certainly didn't "tick all the boxes" for me, I have been swamped by e-mails. My little In Box has split and has spread next door. Not happy with sending me one e-mail for each and every post, the system insists on sending me the same e-mail two or three times.

I was using this forum to boost up my life and get the feel good feeling that goes walkabout when you are a tad under the weather but it is failing me at the moment. I will probably forget about the site for six months and try again. because IT's DOING MY HEAD IN.

Now going to await Admins reply.
