I am so sorry to hear about your mum. No matter how inevitable it may be or sometimes that it might be a blessing if they have suffered, its still ahuge huge loss.

Thank you all so much for your love and support. It really helps knowing my friends are so kind and caring.
My mum stopped eating and drinking about 3 days ago so we knew she didn't have long. Me and my sisters took shifts of 3 hours each to make sure one of us was with her at all times. It was on my shift yesterday that she finally went. We had all said our goodbyes but it was still such a shock and it really hurt.
We have been the undertakers today to sort out the funeral and flowers, We also went to the home to sort out something for her to wear. The home have been brilliant and quite a few of the staff said they want to come the funeral. She is being cremated next Friday at 2pm. I am dreading it. I am an orphan now! Silly as that sounds at my age.
Getting upset again so will go now. Thanks again to all of you.

It's so hard to lose your mother what ever age you are. Even when it's expected it's still such a shock. I'm really glad you were with her and that you've sisters to share the grief with. Take care, all of us who've lost our mums will be feeling for you. X
