Hello everyone on this lovely sunny day,,even if it is a tad windy,,,

Well after days of searching the insurance company,s i finally went with the RAC, who where £90 cheaper than my insurer,,asked my insurer if they could match it and said no, so they lose a customer and RAC gains one, anyway after getting the ins sorted, i recieved a e,mail from them asking me to download the documents and check them over as they don,t send them out now,,WHAT, anyway checked them over, all ok now to print the ins part so i can tax the car,,well have,nt used the printer in awhile so that did not want to play ball with me,,check inks it said,,they fine and full, but computer say no,,so take inks back out put back umpteen times and then voila decides to play ball,,by now my breathing has gone haywire and can feel my heart thudding, anyway it gets printing, yes here we go,,not only does it print the ins doc but everything that went with it,,good lord after reams of wasted paper took the rest of the paper out just to stop it,,anyway i have the doc,,got my breathing down,,and am having a cuppa,,am going into curry,s later to get a camera, hopefully that will be straightforward, as i,m not the most technical minded person on the planet,,

keep breathing easy all of you and enjoy the sunshine,,

Just so you know for the future you can tax your car online. It's very easy and it checks you have an up to date MOT and insurance. They then post the disc to you.

Good work in finding a cheaper quote!

Gordon Bennet Marie, I hate to think what is going to happen if you try to print your photo's. I am glad you got sorted with the insurance though.

We are with RAC, and yes you can print your documents offline, but you do have the option of them sending them to you. Hope they offered you a good deal on breakdown cover with your insurance, that's what we asked for to get us to stay with them. It doesn't pay to be loyal to insurance companies I have discovered. Shop around every year for all kinds of insurance it really does pay.

Well have been with Sheila,s wheels awhile, but if they are not prepared to match them i,m off, as for breakdown cover, mine was up for renewal so my lovely daughter Shelley bought me rac cover for my birthday, ( i was with Brittania), said that was better as it covered any car,,,and yes bobby have printed of a photo of my g,daughter Emily playing footy yesterday at Swindon, the team won all 4 games and now go to the finals in Birmingham,oh boy was she so proud of her medal bless her,,

I don't bother printing off my documents unless I need them. Save that whale!
