sorry, i cant help, have you googled it? P

My lung doc switched me from Seretide 125/25 to Flutiform 250/10 last week. My asthma is really bad at the moment with a terrible cough.

I think the highest dose of Seretide is equivalent to the dose of Flutiform I am now on, but Flutiform is substantially cheaper.

The ingredients consist of two meds, Fluticasone is the corticosteroid in both Seretide and Flutiform. The difference is the long acting beta agonist, Seretide has a different one to Flutiform, but theoretically they do the same job.

I have read online that Seretide is prescribed for asthma and COPD whereas Flutiform (at least until now) is only prescribed for asthma. I don't know if COPD will be added at a later date, Flutiform has only recently been available.

If you have got COPD, then as I understand it, Flutiform is not an official med for your condition (yet).

I like the container, it's got a coloured counter that changes colour to let you know how much is left. I find Flutiform smells which Seretide didn't. My asthma and cough are still bad though, after nearly two weeks on the highest dose, not typical for me. The hayfever did me in this year and that was the cause of the problems.

Maybe it'd be worth checking with your pharmacy whether Flutiform should indeed be given to a COPD patient.
