Sat in the hospital for several hours last Friday and again on Tuesday with my hubby, it was very warm in there and everyone seemed to be coughing and guess what - I now have a silly irritating cough any ideas to stop it getting worse please.

Anti bac gargle may help polly, also lozenge for tickly cough.
If symptoms persist or worsen, well you know what they say ... see the doc.

Hi, I find cold drink and cough sweets help. Also find liquid piriton can help.
If not its off to docs.
I had cough now for weeks nothing working this time. Tried everything doc has given me tablets but says will take time to get rid of.

I was adviced by a fellow member to ask GP for some liquid codeine.had niggly cough for ages and it has certainly helped.good luck.

Liquid codeine is great for coughs but it can give you constipation worse than you have ever had before.
