Sometimes, I do feel like giving up - then, I think "go and have a look at what your (virtual) friends are saying".
In almost every instance they give me the same message as the uploaded picture.
What would I do without you all!!!!
Lots of love to everyone

Thank you Annec, I too am one of many I'm sure who have to learn some lessons over and over again. This is one of 'em.
How's this for dumb - yesterday I forgot I'd come off my oxy and had lunch getting more and more SOB. Ann comes in from kitchen alarmed to see me in trouble then sees oxy off! Oops.
You might say I was admonished somewhat.
Your starter for ten, what have I just recovered from again !
Than you Pepsicoley a positive reminder we are not alone help will be here when we need it most, friendship and support are the miracles that can pick us up when fall.
That is so true Annec, many times I've wanted to just had my cards in, so to speak, but something comes along & gives me the strength to carry on keeping so I,m going to keep on looking for my little miracles & hope they are there when life throws me a curve ball,
It's exactly how I'm feeling at the moment was doing really fantastic since recovering from Pnuemonia last year, not had an infection or time off work since October 3. I had done PR in December and had actually kept up the exercise at home, gained weight felt great. Then smack chest infection knocked me off my feet, and I dont know if I can keep dong it, I've got a great husband but feel so guilty. xxx
You will get there Kim, but infections knock the stuffing out of us all eh?
we,re here for bad days & good days & I,m on top of the world ma days & I,m sure as the weather warms we,ll all get our strength back ready for the next battle life throws at us
I'm sorry that you've been knocked back again and after what sounds like a really good stretch.
Sometimes, like you, I feel guilty because my husband does so many things for me. If we think about things though; we didn't want to become ill and, I know that if things were the other way around then we wouldn't want our respective husbands to feel guilty. (I hoppe that makes sense - I know what I mean (lol)).
You will not be 'handing your cards in' anytime soon!!!!! We can hang in there together.
It's comforting it's not just me Lynne, my brain thinks one thing and my fingers have other ideas.. It even happens when I talk - sometimes a totally different word comes out, usually with the same initial letter, but another word entirely! Libby
A few years ago, I introduced my extremely well endowed friend as 'Diana CHEST (her last name was not, of course, 'Chest'). I was really lucky because Diana started to laugh and it ended up with the three of us almost having hysterics.
I rang my son to ask what Fifty Shades of Grey was. His reply was 'You don't need to know that mother'!!!!
Thank you for the warning though. It's just that sometimes I feel really down because I can't seem to get to a stage (six weeks without antibiotics) where I can have the spirometry test and have confirmed what is wrong with me.
Most of the time I am optimistic. This evening I'm going to raise my spirits but I'll have some Coke in it (I couldn't drink neat whisky!).
I think that the members of this site (including you) are very courageous and brave.
I had cancer, a few years ago, and, although you may think I'm a few slices short of a loaf, I think my cancer was a dawdle compared with COPD. I don't mean to disrespect people with cancer (my son is just about to finish 6 months of chemotherapy) but COPD is so debilitating (hope that is spelt correctly).
Antibiotics have saved my life a few times but I'm getting a bit fed up with taking them so often - thrush!!!!!!!!!
I haven't have any steroids yet so I don't know anything about them.
You are to be admired for still managing to go to work - I had to give up because it was just too much.
