Hi Davieg, I don't take your biologic but have recently started Fasenra, like you it's worked absolute wonders on my breathing, long may it last for us both 🤞 I've had headaches as a side affect, but nothing more on my first dose, will have to see what the second one brings. You should have telephone contact details for your clinic team, it will be on the printed chart they hand out at your first appointment, I'd give them a ring if you are struggling or worried, it's what they are there for, or if you are on mychart I find this a super easy way to communicate with the clinic, can take a day or two for them to respond so it's not for emergencies, hopefully they will offer some helpful reassurance and advice, lots of good wishes, I hope you continue to feel better with your breathing, x N

I guess you need to ask your asthma team if the pain is a reflection of damage to your joints and back by the tezepelumab, or if it's just inflammation and irritation. If it's the latter then painkillers or anti inflammatory treatment (if your asthma can tolerate it) could be the answer. I know that magnesium malate is good for joint pain and muscle aches, and is great if you're on vitamin D3 (something we should be taking if we're in the UK) as it helps the VitD work. Steroids aren't great for bone health, so it does make sense to protect our bones as much as we can with walking (weight bearing exercise) and VitD3.
