I was prescribed it for some time (over 12 years ago). It was breath actuated then and in times of dire need of relief I couldn't get a breath in to make it work. Nowadays I use a combination inhaler (preventative and reliever) and rarely need a reliever inhaler. That's me though, we're all different
My reliever now is Salamol which in fact I've never tried as I've a Ventolin inhaler leftover (close to its use by date but only needed it in acute exacerbation or infection).
I think you need a chat with your GP or respiratory nurse. P
When you say easi breath, do you mean the salamol easi breathe.
I use the mdi version of this, as opposed to the dry powder version of it. I like the mdi version, but the dry version does not suit me.
It is though a reliever inhaler only, so it will not last. I use a combined preventer reliever inhaler, which prevents attacks on a long term basis, as well as giving immediate relief. I personally use fostair 100, but there are loads of combination inhalers out there.
The preventer bit is a cortisteroid, which can have long term effects, like all these sorts of drugs they will avoid giving it to you, unless you need it, so I was started on salamol, and then moved on when they thought I needed it.
