Has anyone had their asthma improve after using Xolair?

hello everyone! My doctor is thinking of starting me on allergy shots. (Since I have a pet) Has anyone had their asthma improve with this? Thank you in advance

Yes! I noticed a big improvement after two doses. Sadly, my breathing is still not good because I also have severe bronchiectasis and aspergillosis, but I can walk a little way now. Good luck with it x

I have been it for 4 years and it has certainly improved my breathing. I have CoPD and asthma so am still short of breath but much better. The only downside for me is that the effects wear off after 3 weeks and I can only have it 4 weekly. I have learned to plan my life round having a bad week once a month.

yes big improvement I have severe asthma and urticaria (hives). Been injecting since 2021

Yes. They also could do IgE tests for other allergens.

Your title mentions Xolair. Are you going to be on both the allergy shots and the biologic?
