Just wondering if anyone got any experience with the above medication.

Over the years I have used both. Still use Montelukast with no issues, the inhaler I have not been on it for years and honestly dont remember. I am sure somebody else will share their experiences.
I have only used montelukast of the 2. I found it worked really well for about a year then I started getting bad dreams but because it was so good for my asthma I didn't want to stop completely and tried a reduced dose of alternating days when I took it. Still getting pretty good control but with a massive reduction in nightmares. That said it seems many people get no side effects.
Oh boy. Montelukast and bad dreams. I get really bad night terrors. I've always had a tendency to have bad dreams but these are on a different level. I had not drawn any relationship between the two until I read a news report a few weeks ago about parents with kids having problems on montelukast.
I had a review with specialist only a week ago, and meant to raise this but forgot as we were so foccused on impact of a recent separate medical issue.
So it sounds like this is a real thing. I just wish I'd raised it with the nurse the other week
I used to take both of those. No problems with either
Hi Claire12, I have been taking Flixotide 250 for many years. I used to have it as an inhaled steroid but now for the past 10 years have taken it once a day but as 2 puffs into a saline solution in a nasal wash bottle each morning. This is supplemented by 2 puffs inhaled twice a day of Symbicort 200. Works very well for me. I have tried a number of different inhalers over the years but this combination is the best for me with no obvious side affects.
My dose of montelukast is 10mg. Taking it for 10 years now, no issues to report. I take it 8pm
