Random Hot Flashes - Not Menopause

Good morning everyone

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced what I can only describe as hot flushes. I get this surge of heat all around my body, then sweat profusely and then it goes just as quickly as it came. I went through the menopause many, many years ago so is not that before anyone tries to tell me otherwise. Usually it is when I am busy and forget to pace myself 😆. I exercise regularly and does not happen during or after a session either. It only started happening when I began Dupilumab at the start of the year and so I suspect it may be this, No other symptoms and my asthma is controlled really well. It’s just embarrassing and if anyone asks it’s just my time of life!

Anyone else experienced this? 🙏

Could be a stress reaction? (I mean physical stress - your body is trying to tell you to slow down?)

Also, I have a friend who went through the menopause at 38 and is now in her 70s and she still gets hot flushes. Although if you've had a long period with none and then they've restarted, it does seem unlikely that it's connected to the menopause.

Hi. Yes possibly stress and know that just because I don’t feel stressed does not mean that I am not stressed 😁. Life is challenging enough even without severe asthma 🙏😁
