How often to change the mouthpiece in a peakflow?

Hello,

I was wondering how often you clean the Mouthpiece and how many times you change it?

Also, how many years are you using the peakflow tool without changing it? I was reading that after 3 years the results can be not accurate, I was wondering if you had any experience.

I use mine rarely, so I wash the mouthpiece each time. But thanks for the advice about the “shelf-life” - I seem to have accumulated 3, so I’ll dispose of the old one.
