Ticklish nose

I seem to have made good progress with my asthma symptoms since starting on Fostair 100/6 and Incruse Ellipta four weeks ago: no mucus, no wheeze, no cough after eight months of the very opposite. Lung function tests tomorrow should tell me whether the high levels of airway inflammation has responded to the treatment (Pheno test) and whether my obstruction has improved (Spirometry).

One odd thing has been that for the last six weeks I’ve found that nasal breathing leaves me feeling as though my nose is ticklish. It also feels a little stuffy. In addition my nose moves inwards a bit on inhalation. Is any of this a ‘thing’ with asthma or am I alone?

So pleased to hear that Fostair is helping you. I have had a cough since January and have just started this morning Trimbow. Which is 2 doses morning and evening. My old inhaler was Trelegy but only once in a morning. Hope you carry on doing well. Sorry I can't help with the ticklish nose. Brian

Yes I get a very highly irritating itchy nose on the top of my nose that drives me to distraction. And also ticklish nose from a random nostril sucking inwards slightly at times. My inhalers are salamol, relvar ellipta and Spiriva. I also have fasenra injections for severe asthma/eosinophilic asthma every 8 weeks. Had horrendous allergies/hayfever in childhood up until my 20's or early 30's. I also get severe contact dermatitis and have a deviated semtum. Not sure that ticklishness of nose/nostril is due to asthma/inhalers, but of nose structure, allergies instead.
