I have been recommended to change from forstair to lufobec.
reports don’t look promising
this is a lot cheaper but why should we suffer if it’s not as good as Forstair

Totally agree. They say you can refuse to change. My prescription says Fostair but for nearly 12 months now I have been given lubofec. The pharmacist tells me he is having trouble getting the Fostair. (Can’t say I’m convinced.)
I wouldn’t care but I don’t like it. It does not seem as smooth ( if that makes any sense to you) and I don’t think it works as well.
thanks. A lot of negative feedback about this. I think I’ll ask my doctor as it seems the health board changed it ??!!
If your doctor does insist on the change, start taking daily peak flow readings before you start the new inhaler and continue afterwards. Any fall in PF will demonstrate to your GP that the new inhaler isn't doing the job of Fostair. But I would stand my ground if your asthma is well controlled by Fostair.
thanks. I have just collected my prescription for 2 month and they had already changed my inhaler over. So I have them back to pharmacy and will call doctor next week to see what he says
