hi, I have bad asthma but Flovent keeps it under control in the summer months. I started having a sore throat and felt tired yesterday and tested positive for Covid. Today is the same.
my question is for those who have had omicron specifically
What days were the worst for you? The first few days or a week after? I’m triple vaccinated but my booster was last December and I’m terrified as I have other underlying conditions on top of Asthma. Thanks in advance ❤️

It was the first 5 days for me with headaches, sore throat and coughing up mucus constantly although it hasn't effected my asthma at all .This was the second time round for me so it was a little easier than 7 months ago when I caught it .
Hi, I hope you’re feeling okay, I see it’s 7 days since you wrote. My asthma is usually mild but I’m on a daily combined preventer/12 hour bronchodilator. I caught covid for the first time mid June, so likely Omicron. It wasn’t too bad, really, but 15 days after testing positive I started feeling increasingly short of breath and my PFs were getting lower. I was advised to maximise my inhalers which I did for about 4 weeks and I’ve started seeing the asthma nurse regularly because if it. I’m fine now i think but recommend you just be aware how you feel next week and take advice. Good luck!
I’m doing good. I actually had to go on Paxlovid as my blood oxygen level got to 93 on day 4 so just to prevent me from possibly having to go to the hospital and be put on oxygen. I’m negative now 😁
