Hi,
Things I fond that help me is to create a flow of air if you can, I open my window then my mums at the other end of house. I'm still hot but I feel like a can breath. I also feel a cold shower helps me to, I just sit in there for 10 or so minutes and again it helps me catch my bre. For me using a fan makes it worse, it's dry warm air and my chest gets super tight. If you have heyfever stay on top of your treatment and goes without saying, keep your reliever pump close at all times!
I hope this helps.
I've been putting frozen bottles of water in front of the fan, takes about a hour to feel cool air. I've used ice cubes on a tray in front of the fan before as well. Damp towel around my neck and head when I start to overheat. 🤗
Are you able to tolerate wafting a handheld fan in front of your face? I find it cooling. I also use it to cool my torso.
Ice pack on head really helps cool your whole system down.I have been feeling very wafty last couple of days, unsure if heat or M.E but it’s awful, scared of falling re OP #s.Boy am I a wreck! Gonna brave a cool shower in a min. Windows all open from early am,get air in house.Watch films with snow, rain in.😂
Hi I am the same, hate the heat hard, to breath. I close, blinds, curtains and have, fans, on all over. If u can create, a breeze, seems, to help. Ice cubes, in bowl in front of fan and I use them on my face to cool me. Use your reliever inhaler when needed. And use preventer inhaler as prescribed. Hopefully cooling by Sun x
I keep the curtains closed and also the windows when I'm just letting hot air in. Fan on with special cooling towels on me - just wet towel with cold water and they stay cool because of the special material. I got them from Amazon. There are cool gel mats that you can buy to slip into your pillow case. Keep TV off if possible and sleep downstairs if necessary. I also play YouTube vids designed to help people sleep, the rain one is great to trick the brain that it's cool.
